Students receive individualized instruction to help them discover their singing potential through personalized exercises combined with carefully selected classical and/or musical theater repertoire, all designed to allow success while maintaining a growth edge.  Teaching methodology focuses on creating a free, resonant and uniform sound, including introduction of singing physiology and diction.  Woven throughout lessons is attention to musical expressivity, with an emphasis on creating a cohesive character designed to inspire and connect with the audience.

Summer Singing Intensive:  Each summer the studio offers a five week summer singing program designed for those interested in propelling their singing technique forward.  Singers meet six days per week for a combination of individual and group instruction in the areas of: lyric diction using the International Phonetic Alphabet, opera character analysis, bel canto singing technique and performance strategies.  During the session, singers will learn and memorize 3-5 foreign language art songs and arias, participate in master classes and give a concluding recital.
